Vietnam And Combodia

Spirituality, relaxation, adventure- there are many reasons why heading east has become an experience not to be missed. While Vietnam boasts the multiple UNESCO sites and beautiful beaches, Angkor Wat, without question, is the number one reason to cross the border into Cambodia. Hence combining both countries on the same tour is undoubtedly worthwhile.

DAY 1 : Siem Reap Arrival – City Tour

Meet your tour leader at Delhi airport.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport, after clearing immigration, meet your local guide & board your coach.

On the way, our guide will brief us about the history and culture of Cambodia.

We will have brunch on the way or near our hotel.

We plan to leave hotel by 3:30 PM to visit puok district Angkor silk farm, a fascinating way to learn about Cambodian silk. Here we will spend some time and witness start-to- finish silk creation, growing and harvesting mulberry and the breeding process and the life cycle of the silk worm. And we continue to visit west Barry (the man-made lake dated created in 11th century).

Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 2 : Discovery of The Heart of Angkor- Highlight of Cambodia

After breakfast, we will enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. Ta Prohm Temple: Unlike most of the other Angkor temples, Ta Prohm has been left just it was founded: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor’s most popular temples with visitors.

In the afternoon, we visit the famous Angkor Wat, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation. Those of you who wish can climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain or Pre Rup Temple to view a spectacular sunset.

Towards the evening explore the night market of Cambodi, go for shopping, pick your favorite trinkets, Cambodian silk, artifacts and whatever your heart desires.

DAY 3 : Siem Reap – Flight to Ho Chi Minh city

Check-out form the hotel, as per your flight timings.

Bid farewell to Cambodia today.

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), we check-in into the hotel.

After check-in, you can explore the surroundings on your own.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 4 : Cu chi Tunnels

Today after breakfast visit Cu Chi Tunnels: otherwise known as Iron Triangle or Iron Land. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short video introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

Drive back to the city, have lunch and later during the day you can visit Ben Thanh Market.

Later in the evening head back to the hotel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 5 Day 5: Ho Chi Minh city – Flight to Danang – Hoi An

Today, check out from the hotel, before heading to the airport visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam.

After that we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war.

We will take photo stops at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office.

Then, we will go straight to airport to catch flight to Danang.

On arrival in Danang, our guide and car will wait in Danang International airport to transfer you to Hoi An Ancient Town for accommodation.

Before dinner, we will take a short boat right on Hoai River and release folding lantern into the river. The releasing of lanterns is believe to bring good fortune, love, as well as health and happiness.

Dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 6 : Hoi An City Tour

After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Sun World Ba Na Hills. We first take the cable car up to the mountains, enjoy the specular of Truong Son Mountains and most specially, the Golden Bridge – the new symbol of Danang thanks to its unique design and magical settings.

Free time to wander through the Le Jardin Garden with hundred kinds of flowers or admire the architectural buildings at French village.

Lunch at Bana Hills restaurant, then we take the cable car down.
Enjoy International Buffet Lunch at Bana hills.

Later back to Hoi an – enjoy a leisurely evening.

DAY 7 : Bana Hills – Flight to Hanoi

Hoi An Ancient town has been recognized as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 1999. The architecture of the town reflects the influence of Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, French and British traders. It used to be a trading port in 17th & 18th centuries where the ships from Japan, China & the west met and exchanged goods.

Hoi An nowadays is one the most attractive places in Vietnam and with a half day walking around, visitors will immediately feel the hospitality and friendship the locals extend to them.

Today before taking our flight you will go for the walking tour, along with our guide we take a transfer to the downtown for our walking tour. We will start our walking tour around the ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance.

DAY 8 : Hoa Lu – Tam Coc

Today our day will start at aroud 8 AM, we will drive Southward of Hanoi to Ninh Binh province.

On arrival, we will visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital dated back from 10th and 11th centurie. It is home to historical monuments, including King Dinh and King Le Temple & Tombs. After the visit to few temples.

We will take boat ride (Sampan) along the Ngo Dong River to visit three caves Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba (Tam Coc) in the Ngo Dong River. Our pleasant boat rowing starts from the embroidery village of Van Lam then proceed through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst limestone to three natural caves, of which, the largest is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water. The boats are typically rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidered goods.

DAY 9 : Halong Bay

Check out from the hotel and get ready for a luxurious experience.

Today get ready for you Halong Bay cruise experience.

Arrival in Tuan Chau Island and check-in.

12:30 You will be given a short briefing about your cruise itinerary and safety regulations while sipping your welcome drink.

13:00 – 14:30 Time to enjoy your lunch as the cruise passes by beautiful islets of Halong Bay.

14:30 – 15:30 Visit Tung Sau pearl farm. You will have the chance to explore the process of pearl cultivation or experience kayaking.

15:45 – 16:45 Visit Titop island – the island is named after the Russian cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov. You can either choose to hike the mountain to get an overview of Halong Bay or swim at the beach on the island.

17:15 – 19:00 At sunset, your cruise will anchor overnight. It is the perfect time to enjoy happy hour and Canapé.

19:00 – 22:00 Savor your Western set Dinner.

20:30 – 23:00 After dinner, you may spend time at Piano Lounge, join the squid fishing at the back of the boat or enjoy fantastic movies in your cabin.

DAY 10 : Hanoi – Halong Bay

Today early morning Enjoy the Tai Chi session on the Sun Deck.

Later follow the schedule of the cruise – check out around 1030 AM & drive towards Hanoi.

Today after Lunch drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex where we will spend time at Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda.

Later we will visit the Temple of Literature, a perfect example of well preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture dedicated to Confucius.

After lunch, we visit Tran Quoc pagoda and the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Hoa Lo is also known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years.

Later this afternoon, sit back & enjoy 1-hour cyclo tour of the French inspired “old quarter”.

Later in the evening you are free for shopping, explore the shops in old quarter. this place has designer boutiques, contemporary art galleries & much more.

Day 11: Hanoi

Today as per your flight schedule, you can explore, incase if we missed out on any excursion yesterday, you can enjoy the shopping and explore the town on your own.

Post excursion, arrive at the airport and take your flight back to your home country.
