Valley of Kashmir A Paradise on Earth(During Tulip Festival)
06th till 12th April 2024
While the plains start getting extremely hot during April, Srinagar is pleasant and welcomes you with a romantic ambiance. Srinagar is home to Asia’s biggest tulip garden which is at it’s best during April.
Kashmir is encircled by three mountain ranges of the Himalayas- the Karakoram, Zanskar, and PirPanjal, running from northwest to northeast. Forming the backdrop of Kashmir, these snow-capped ranges make Kashmir look like a picture straight out of a fairytale. Dazzling rivers, serene lakes, splendid gardens, flowering meadows are some other features of the landscape of the Kashmir valley. During the summer season, the Kashmir valley gets covered in blossoms, making it an ideal time to explore the natural beauty of the place
The handicrafts of Kashmir are almost as popular as its scenic beauty. The Popular handicrafts of the valley are Pashmina shawls, silk carpets, paper-mâché products, Exquisite woodwork, copper-ware, silverware, and a number of other crafts. Don’t forget to buy some Saffron while you are there. All on this trip to The “Switzerland of the East”.
