DAY 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro

Day 3: Historical Rio de Janeiro with Santa Teresa + Carnival Experience

Day 5: Manaus (Amazon Rainforest)

- Begin with a boat excursion on the Rio Negro, where you may spot the famous Amazon river dolphin (Pink Dolphin). Continue with a visit to a local indigenous community and experience their traditions through a cultural interaction featuring music and traditional dances.
- In the evening, head out for a guided night canoe tour for alligator spotting. Using flashlight reflections, your expert guide will help locate these fascinating creatures and, if conditions allow, safely capture one briefly for an educational demonstration before releasing it back into the wild.

Day 6: Manaus (Amazon Rainforest)

- Piranha Fishing: Motorized canoe trip to a calm fishing spot. Try catching piranhas and other local fish.
- Monkey Jungle: Visit a wildlife rescue and rehab center (since 1991).

Day 7: Manaus (Amazon Rainforest) to Iguazu

Day 10: Lima (Half-Day City Tour)

- After breakfast, proceed for a half-day city tour of Lima.
- Visit the historic Aliaga House, one of the oldest colonial mansions in the Americas.
- Continue to the iconic Lima Cathedral, located in the heart of the city’s historic center.
- Later, explore the renowned Larco Museum, famous for its extensive collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts.
- Return to the hotel.

Day 11: Lima to Sacred Valley (Flight)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport in Lima for your flight to Cusco.
- Upon arrival in Cusco, proceed with a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley and check in to your hotel. The Sacred Valley, located at an altitude of approximately 8,000 ft above sea level, offers a more gradual acclimatization compared to Cusco and helps your body adjust to the higher elevations.

Day 12: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Sacred Valley

- Early morning, transfer to the train station to board the scenic Vistadome Train for your journey to Machu Picchu.

After finishing our Brazil–Peru trip, the feeling of what we’ve done in the last fifteen days is really sinking in.
Suddenly we’re all realising what a tour it truly was, two countries, seven internal flights (some at really odd times!), great shows, local cuisines, finding amazing Indian food restaurants in Brazil and Peru, the Amazon experience, climbing Machu Picchu, a helicopter ride to see the great waterfalls of Iguazu, experiencing the cultures of both countries… and above all, finding and making new friends.
All of this has been possible because of the KV Team.
This was my second trip with you guys, the first one being Japan, which was another great experience and we’re surely going to see the world many more times with you.

Glad to inform that we reached safely last night at 10:30 pm. The trip is fantastic and organised in a very friendly way as if it is a family function.
The itinerary, hotels, buses, drivers and local guides all are excellent and made us feel at home all through the journey.
Bhaskar, the Tour Manager made our trip memorable, with dedication, commitment without any compromise on any matter. Bhasker made everybody feel as if he is our family member so caring and loving all the way. He always remained with us, be it a cave, a tunnel or water sport and instilled confidence in us to move forward.

The experience of the Antarctica cruise was unforgettable. Luxury and concern were the hallmarks of the cruise company and KareVoyage who made all the travel arrangements under the superbly watchful eye of Shefali Jain Mishra must be commended for no detail being too small for their attention and no want being too large for them to handle.
Shefali’s warmth had the right blend of making you feel independent yet not taking her eye off the ball as seniors do need and expect. All in all KareVoyage is highly recommended for seniors’ travel.

Finally at Barcelona we had a surprise package of Flamenco dance, dinner on the side walk, visits to winery and medieval quaint towns around Barcelona.
