DAY 1: Guwahati Airport to Guwahati City
Arrival Transfer + Half Day City Tour
Meet your tour manager at Guwahati Airport, check in into your hotel, after Lunch visit Kamakhya temple, Hindu pilgrim site and a major religious landmark of the city – Kamakhya
Temple build in reverence of Goddess Kamakhya or Sati one of the various incarnations of Goddess Durga or Goddess Shakti & 17th century peacock island. Sunset Cruise Umananda Temple located in the on Brahmaputra River. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Guwahari to Kaziranga National Park
Transfer and Sightseeing
After breakfast check out at around 09:00 AM and drive to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National park – a world heritage site famous for the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes and shallow pools.
Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga National Park
Full Day City Tour
Early morning we shall go for Jungle safari -Jungle safari by Jeep is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park.
Return to the resort for your breakfast. Take rest & visit Kaziranga Orchid center followed by traditional Lunch.
Day 4: Kaziranga to Dimapur
Transfer after breakfast transfer to Diapur. Dimapur is a city in the northeastern state of Nagaland,India, Dimapur was the capital of the Kachari tribe before the 13th century AD.The name Dimapur comes from the Kachari Dialect and means “the city near the great river”.
Overnight at Dimapur.
Day 5: Closing Ceremony of Hornbill
Dimapur to Kohima
Breakfast at hotel and drive towards Kohima,the captial of Nagaland. On arrival, check into your hotel. Lather on experience the amazing Hornbill Festival,which showcases cultural displays from most of the naga tribes.We learn about the people and diverse culture of Nagaland, we have the opportunity to experience Naga food, the songs, dance and the local customs.
Please note it is closing ceremony afternoon will have local tribes performaces and evening live music by various bands.
Overnight at Kohima.
Day 6: Explore Kohima village
Breakfast at the hotel, later leave for exploring the Kohima village.
Located just 20 kilometers from the bustling streets of Nagaland’s capital, Khonoma village offers breathtaking views of terraced paddy fields and hills draped in lush forests. Often referred to as a ‘warrior village,’ Khonoma is renowned for its brave resistance during the British colonial era, holding a significant place in history.

Day 7: Kohima to Dimapur Airport
After breakfast drive to Dimapur Airport for onward journey. Take your direct flight from Dimapur to Delhi.
Note: Nagaland is a remote state of India, and has basic facilities to offer. The hotels in Dimapur and Kohima are well appointed but basic in nature. Guwahati and Kaziranga are City and Resort property, and upscale.
