DAY 1: TOKYO – CITY TOUR
- We will board our flight today from our respective cities. Your Tour Manager from KareVoyage will meet you at Delhi’s IGI airport. Today you arrive in Haneda (Tokyo) Airport, after Immigration formalities we will transfer to the Tokyo Hotel. (Guranteed Early Checkin at Hotel, since flight arrives early in the morning at 6:00 AM)
- Check In into the comfort of your Hotel, take rest and leave at around 12:00 PM.
- After lunch we will take you to Asakusa Senso Ji Temple.
- Asakusa Senso Ji Temple: Nakamise Street Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as “Nakamise” stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of interesting shops.
DAY 2: TOKYO- CITY TOUR
- After having a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed on a City Tour of Tokyo at 09:00 AM.
- Today you will visit the following places by Coach.
- Ueno Park (Cherry Blossom): Ueno Park is one of Japan’s five oldest public parks. Home to over one thousand cherry trees, Tokyo’s Ueno Park transformes into a sea of pink blossoms during the spring. The park grounds were originally part of Kaneiji Temple, which used to be one of the city’s largest and wealthiest temples and a family temple of the ruling Tokugawa clan during the Edo Period.
- Ueno Ameyoko street: Ameya-Yokocho is a lively street market that runs alongside the railway tracks between JR Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station. The street features a huge variety of small retail businesses selling seafood, fruits and vegetables, general groceries, discount clothing, accessories, cosmetics, watches, and confectionery.
- Team lab planet: Excellent addition to Tokyo’s technological advancement. You will experience a different world. TeamLab Planets is a museum where you walk through water, and a garden where you become one with the flowers. It comprises 4 large-scale artwork spaces and 2 gardens created by art collective teamLab.
- People go barefoot and immerse their entire bodies in the vast artworks together with others. The artworks change under the presence of people, blurring the perception of boundaries between the self and the works. Other people also create change in the artworks, blurring the boundaries between themselves and the works, and creating a continuity between the self, the art, and others.
- Overninght stay at the hotel in Tokyo.
DAY 3: TOKYO- NIKKO- TOKYO
- Today after Breakfast, we will visit Nikko which is at a short 2 hours distance from the city of Tokyo.
- National park: Enhance your experience of Nikko National Park on an enriching full-day excursion. Feast your eyes upon breathtaking countryside, sacred shrines, and stunning temples as you explore the region with an accomplished guide.
- Toshogu Shrine (Ticket included): Tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its lavish decorations and ornate details. This 400-year-old shrine houses the remains of Edo period’s founder, Ieyasu Tokugawa. Enjoy seeing the traditional beauty of the main hall, as well as the sleeping cat and 3 monkey carvings.
- Lake Chuzenji (Photo stop): Lake Chuzenji is a scenic lake in the mountains above the town of Nikko. Created by an eruption of Mt. Nantai, Lake Chuzenji is a symbol of Nikko. The views from the lake are spectacular, particularly when the cherry blossoms or azaleas are blooming or when the autumn leaves are turning.
- Lunch at a Local Restaurant.
- Back in Tokyo.
- Total driving- To & From- 3-4 Hours.
- Total walking about 2 kms with few Steps.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the Hotel in Tokyo.
DAY 4: TOKYO – MT. FUJI & HAKONE
- Today after breakfast at the Hotel, at around 9:00 am check out we will proceed to Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour.
- Mt Fuji 5th station (if weather permits): The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, participants will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
- Lunch at a Restaurant.
- Hakone Ropeway (Ticket included): Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountain top.
- Lake Ashi Cruise (Ticket included): This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone was formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji towering 30 km north-west. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship.The tour may be guided to another ropeway or an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, etc.
- Dinner at a Restaurant.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Hakone.
DAY 5: HIROSHIMA BY BULLET TRAIN + MIYAJIMA SIGHTSEEING
- Transfer from Hakonay Hotel to train station to board bullet train from Hakonay to Hiroshima. Pick up on arrival and proceed for Miyajima tour.
- Enroute lunch break at local restaurant.
- Visit Miyajima Island (Ferry Ticket included), Itsukushima Shrine (Photo Stop)
- Miyajima Island: Miyajima is a small island in Hiroshima Prefecture, also known as “Shrine Island”. This is where one of the greatest Japanese shrines called “Itsukushima Shrine” and its magnificent floating red torii gate are located.
- Itsukushima Shrine: A World Heritage site, established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan’s finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles’ residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.
- Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 6: HIROSHIMA SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE DOWN TO OSAKA
- Today after breakfast, proceed for Hiroshima city tour, leave the hotel at around 9:00 am.
- Visits- Atomic Bomb museum (Photo Stop): Sadako Monument, Cenotaph: The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.
- Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum (Ticket included): This large-scale park was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended, and is visited by countless visitors as a symbol of peace. The museum within the park is an important Cultural Property of Japan, and was built to remind future generations of the terror wrought by atomic bombs.
- Sadako monument: Visitors to Peace Memorial Park see brightly colored paper cranes everywhere. These paper cranes come originally from the ancient Japanese tradition of origami or paper folding, but today they are known as a symbol of peace. They are folded as a wish for peace in many countries around the world. This connection between paper cranes and peace can be traced back to a young girl named Sadako Sasaki, who died of leukemia ten years after the atomic bombing.
- Drive down to Osaka.

- Photostop at Kurashiki Canal: Kurashiki Canal Area is located in Okayama Prefecture and was once an important distribution center for large quantities of rice during the Edo Period (1603-1868). From Kurashiki large amounts of rice were distributed to the surrounding areas. It is one of the reasons you will see many warehouses along the canal. Although today they are no longer used as storage, but have been converted into restaurants, shops, and museums. The canal area is also known as Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter and is one of the most picturesque old merchant quarters in Japan.

DAY 7: OSAKA- KYOTO & NARA
- After breakfast at the Hotel, get ready and proceed on a day excursion in Kyoto.
- Kinkakuji Temple – Golden Pavilion (Ticket included): A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.
- Arashiyam Bamboo forest: Located at the foot of the “Storm Mountains” in the north of the city of Kyoto, this world-famous, seemingly endless forest of swaying bamboo boughs is perfect for a relaxing retreat to nature during a stay in Japan.
- Shopping in Nishiki Market: Step off the downtown and into a thriving food market, one filled with locals, visitors, and everyone in between — from grandmothers buying pickles to toddlers chewing on skewered octopus heads. There’s something charming about this place, and plenty to explore. And it’s been here, in one form or another, since around 1615 (and perhaps even earlier).
- Lunch break at a local restaurant.
- Todaiji Temple: It is one of Japan’s most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara. The temple was constructed in 752 as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan and grew so powerful that the capital was moved away from Nara in 784 in order to lower the temple’s influence on government affairs.
Temple visitors will also encounter some deer from the adjacent Nara Park.

DAY 8: KYOTO– OSAKA CASTLE & SHOPPING TOUR
- After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to visit the following places:
- Osaka Castle (From Outside): Osaka Castle was founded in the 16th century by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a remarkable shogun in the Sengoku period, and is known as the symbol of his power. An excellent place to see Cherry blooming. (Sakura)
- After lunch break visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine: Also known as Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine, it is one of the most famous in Osaka and the site of many of the nation’s most important religious rites and traditions. Sumiyoshi Taisha is the main and most famous of over two thousand Sumiyoshi shrines found across Japan. Sumiyoshi shrines enshrine the kami (Shinto gods) who protect travelers, fishermen and sailors at sea.
- At evening enjoy shopping at Dotombori & Shinsaibashi shopping arcade: Shinsaibashi is an area near Namba, the center of Osaka sightseeing, and Dotonbori. Here, you’ll find a famous Osaka shopping arcade called Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street. Come and experience the liveliest and most colorful area of Osaka.

DAY 9: OSAKA- FLIGHT BACK HOME
Today after breakfast, we take our flight back home with memories to relish for a lifetime. Let’s say a goodbye to this wondrous country and your new friends with a promise to meet again.
