DAY 01 – By Air– Arrival in Guwahati - Guwahati to Kaziranga
- As per your flight timing, arrival in Guwahati.
- Drive towards Kaziranga and check-in at the hotel.
- The rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the resort surroundings or enjoy peaceful nature walks in the serene environment.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 2: Kaziranga
- Early in the morning, proceed for a Jeep safari. Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest popular Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, moreover, it is visited by many rare migratory birds.

Day 3 : Kaziranga to Shillong (260kms / 6 hours drive)
- After breakfast, drive to Shillong with a stop at Umiam Lake en-route. Nestled amid pine-covered hills, Shillong enjoys a pleasant climate and scenic beauty, earning it the title “Scotland of the East.” With visible British colonial influences in its architecture and cuisine, the city is also home to several waterfalls.

Day 4: Shillong
- Known as the “Gleneagle of the East,” Shillong sits on a plateau surrounded by the Khasi Hills and offers a wealth of attractions.
- Enjoy leisurely walks and boating at Ward’s Lake, visit the Japanese-style Lady Hydari Park, and explore the State Museum showcasing Meghalaya’s heritage. The region is dotted with stunning waterfalls, including the beautiful Elephant Falls, while Shillong Peak offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the city and valley.

Day 5: Shillong– Cherrapunji (53Kms 2 hours drive)
- After breakfast, leave for Cherrapunji: also known as Sohra, is a picturesque town in Meghalaya famous for its dramatic landscapes, heavy rainfall, and lush greenery. Nestled on the edge of the Khasi Hills.
- Visit the famous Living Root Bridge: ingenious natural structures created by weaving tree roots over streams.
- Overnight stay at the Hotel in Cherrapunji.
Day 6: Cherrapunji- Mawlynnong - Cherrapunji
- Have your breakfast.
- After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge, scenic waterfalls, and the unique natural balancing rock.
- Later, enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River at Dawki, one of Meghalaya’s top attractions.
- Overnight at the Hotel in Cherrapunji.
Day 7: Cherrapunji- Guwahati
- After breakfast, leave for Guwahati.
- Visit Kamakhya Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya, an incarnation of Sati. Located atop Nilachal Hill, the temple is associated with a legend from the Shiva Purana, which says that Sati’s yoni (creative power) fell here when Lord Vishnu cut her body into 51 pieces to stop Lord Shiva’s dance of destruction.

Day 8: Guwahati- Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the Hotel.
- Transfer to Guwahati Airport and fly back to Delhi. We guarantee that you will cherish your memories of this trip for life.
