Coorg is surrounded by the misty Sahyadri mountains, coffee and spice plantations, while Wayanad is known for its scenic peaks such as Banasura, Chembra, and Brahmagiri. Located in the Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s eight hottest biodiversity hotspots, these destinations are a paradise for nature lovers. DAY 1: Arrival – Mangalore-Chikmagalur- 140 kms/ 3-4 Hours Drive with
  • Upon arrival at Mangalore Airport or Railway Station, begin your scenic journey to Chikmagalur, a charming hill station known for its rolling hills and aromatic coffee plantations. Enjoy a relaxed drive through picturesque landscapes with refreshing stopovers en route.
  • On arrival, check in to your hotel/resort and take some time to unwind amidst nature.
  • As the evening sets in, soak in the tranquil surroundings, indulge in resort activities, or take a leisurely walk through the lush coffee estates, breathing in the fresh mountain air.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Chikmagalur.
Day 2: Chikmagalur Sightseeing
  • After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore the scenic beauty of Chikmagalur.
  • Visit Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka, offering breathtaking views, followed by the picturesque Baba Budangiri Hills known for their natural beauty and spiritual significance.
  • Later, enjoy a visit to the refreshing Jhari Falls nestled amidst lush greenery.
  • In the evening, experience the charm of a coffee plantation and soak in the aroma of Chikmagalur’s famous coffee estates.
  • Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Chikmagalur.
Day 3: Leisure Day in Chikmagalur
  • After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a relaxed day amidst the serene beauty of Chikmagalur.
  • Unwind at the resort or choose from optional sightseeing experiences, including a visit to the tranquil Hirekolale Lake, a cozy local café, a rejuvenating spa session, or a refreshing nature walk.
  • Spend the evening at leisure enjoying the resort amenities and peaceful surroundings.

Day 4: Leave for Coorg
  • After breakfast proceed to Coorg, located in the southwest part of Karnataka bordering Kerala. Coorg is one of India’s famous travel destination and has been called the Scotland of India by the British and also called as the Kashmir of South India.
  • Upon arrival check in at hotel & evening free for leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel in Coorg.
Day 5: Coorg sightseeing
  • After breakfast around 10:00 AM proceed for sightseeing by covering some of interesting places such as Sri Omkareshwara Temple built in 1741 by the King Lingarajendra II, for exculpation against Brahma Hatya. Built in the Mughal style, this temple involves Indo Islamic and Gothic architecture. There are not many Shiva temples in India that share similar architectural style. Also, Shivalingas that go by the name of Omkareshwara, are also a rarity in India.
  • The Madikeri Fort has an intriguing historical past. It was initially built of mud, and later replaced to the present structure by Tipu Sultan. The grand monument houses an Anglican church, a temple, a prison and a museum. Offering a panoramic views of the city, the entrance of the fort is adorned by two fascinating mortar elephants.
  • Raja’s Seat or the Seat of the King is a famous sunset point in Madikeri. It was once the platform from which the kings of Kodagu used to enjoy glorious sunsets. The spot got its name as it was the favourite recreational place for the kings. Raja’s seat stands inside a splendid garden of seasonal flowers and musical fountains.
  • Abbey falls is one of the most amazing attractions in the Coorg. The picturesque view of the fall will surely take your breath away and also provide you with quite a few Kodak moments. The waterfall comes down from a height of 70 feet and provides a superb vista. You will also find a hanging bridge across the gorge from which an exceptional view of this waterfall is a sight to remember.

Day 6: Coorg - Wayanad (Approx. 3–4 Hrs)
  • After breakfast check out and proceed to Wayanad.
  • Check in to the resort.
  • Relaxing evening at the resort.

Day 7: Wayanad sightseeing
  • After breakfast, leave for Wayanad sightseeing.
  • Visit the Pookode Lake: The lake has the natural shape of India’s map in aerial view. This perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is only one of its kind in Kerala.
  • Lakkidi View Point
  • Banasura Sagar Dam: Wayanad is home to India’s largest earthen dam, the Banasura Sagar. The dam, which was constructed in 1979, is built across the Karamanathodu tributary of the Kabani River.

Day 8: Leisure day in Wayanad
  • Have a leisurly breakfast and get ready for Wayanad sightseeing.
  • Edakkal Caves: A trip to Edakkal Caves is like a journey into our forgotten past. The caves have provided historians with great information regarding the lives and habits of our ancestors. The engravings are abundant and of great variety. Human figures, animals, tools, vehicles, day-to-day occurrences and scripts in different language scripts have been discovered here.
  • Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary: Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Wayanad, Kerala, India with an extent of 344.44 km² and four hill ranges namely Sulthan Bathery, Muthanga, Kurichiat and Tholpetty. This wildlife area houses some of the rare and endangered species of both flora and fauna. Established in 1973, the sanctuary is now an integral part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
  • Soochipara Waterfalls: The Falls (also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls) is perhaps the most picturesque spot located in the periphery of Wayanad. It is a treat for eyes to see the milky white stream of water making its way to the rivers by passing through the rocky cliffs and clinging trees. The waterfall at the end joins Chaliyar River. The serene ambience of the waterfalls away from the hustle and bustle of the city is a treat to the eyes and a perfect getaway for relaxed minds.

Day 9: Departure
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Calicut Airport in time to connect your flight for onward journey
